KHK SCAFFOLDING AND FORMWORK LTD. L.L.C (KHK) is committed to provide high quality and cost-effective scaffolding and formwork components, ERW steel pipes & aluminum profiles for maximizing customer satisfaction through and effective quality management system that addresses the quality of products and processes, thereby exceeding their expectations of its stakeholders keeping in mind the technological advancements in our area of operations. A keyway to achieve this is by operating a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015.

Top management is committed to:

1) Satisfying applicable requirements by ensuring that customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood, and consistently met.

2) Continual improvement of the QMS by ensuring the risks and opportunities that can affect conformity of products and services and the ability to enhance customer satisfaction are determined and addressed and the focus on enhancing customer satisfaction is maintained.

Top management shall:

1) Take accountability for the effectiveness of the QMS.

2) Ensure the quality policy and quality objectives are established for the QMS and are compatible with the context and strategic direction of the Company. Quality objectives have been set and are maintained as part of the QMS internal auditing, monitoring and management review processes, in order to enhance customer satisfaction and to promote continual improvement.

3) Promote the use of a process approach and risk-based thinking.

4) Ensure that the resources needed for the QMS are available; including training, support and encouragement.

5) Communicate the importance of effective quality management and of conforming to the QMS requirements.

6) Ensuring that the QMS achieves its intended results.

7) Engage, direct and support persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the QMS.

8) Support other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility.

9) Establish partnerships with suppliers and interested parties to provide an improved service. The management ensures that the Quality Policy is communicated and understood to all employees and is available to relevant interested parties. Management reviews the Quality Policy, quality objectives in management review meeting.

QUALITY OBJECTIVE

We at KHK focus on the design, development, manufacture, quality inspection and commissioning of scaffolding and formwork systems for every application in order to meet the growing and ever-changing market demands.

We will continuously focus on improving the quality of our products for, and relations with, our clients by implementing the much required Employee Suggestion Scheme which allows plenty of room for corrective and preventive actions with regards to product characteristics (for example, defects in scaffolding systems) wherever necessary. This will cause our customer’s complaints to quickly subside as we adhere to their quality standards, alongside fulfilling our policy within every level of operation.

To ensure that all contractual and specification requirements are met with minimum wastage and reprocessing, and side by side, a reliable and cost-effective system of management to the benefit of our esteemed clientele, our effectiveness in compliance and continual improvement of our quality management system shall be driven by the process approach.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

KHK is highly committed to manufacturing and supplying scaffolding and formwork products of the best quality in our ISO 9001-2008 certified  quality control plant/department, which was rigorously scrutinized by the BM Prada in 2008.

Stringent quality control standards are maintained here, as well as constant improvement in our quality regulating systems and the daily work approach of our 40 qualified, experienced and trained members, at all times to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations.

At each stage of manufacturing, quality control inspectors are vehemently engaged in assessing the incoming materials (according to previously decided and laid out procedures), along with preventing the incidence and recurrence of product defects, thereby allowing our customers’ needs to be met and to secure strong and long-lasting relationships between them and the world-renowned company. Finally, each product is quickly inspected one final time before being shipped to the desired customers. Complete identification, traceability and inspection status are maintained at each of our major functions, which are to inspect and test all the incoming, in-process and finished materials. The company has in vogue inspection and testing facilities which include:

1) Emission type spectrometer or chemical analysis of steel & cast iron

2) Universal Testing Machine to carry out mechanical testing

3) Hardness Tester for Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing

4) Metallurgical Microscope for metallography

5) Load testing machine to check welding performance and characteristics of materials such as endurance to climate change, defects, etc.

L.L.C is fully committed to continual improvement to enhance our OHS&E performance, through constant review, in order to provide an effectively controlled health, safety and environmental management system and service. This OHS&E Policy Statement is applicable to all areas of our business and has been implemented to meet the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.It is our Policy to:

1) Comply with all pertinent environmental and safety laws, rules and regulations, not just because it is legally required, but also because we believe it is the responsible way to conduct our business.

2) Set OHS&E targets and goals annually to measure our performance, to achieve superior results and to continually improve.

3) Protection of environment, including prevention of pollution.

4) Provide education and training to our employees for them to have the knowledge, skills, and understanding to perform their responsibilities and duties at the highest level.

5) Routinely review and verify performance with audits, evaluations and other preventive and corrective methods.

6) Empower and expect employees and contractors to promptly report non-compliance or unsafe conditions and to take immediate action to prevent injuries or environmental accidents. We are committed for consultation and participation of workers.

7) Provide relevant safety and health information to contractors and require them to provide proper training for the safe, environmentally sound performance of their work.
